Pittenweem Festival 1999

The annual Pittenweem festival will be taking place on Saturday 7th August until Sunday 15th August. There is a variety of events happening daily with something for all to enjoy.

There will be the usual Art exhibition on throughout the week with 37 exhibitors this year, the best ever, these can be found at different venues around Pittenweem.

3pm Service of Dedication
Organ Concert in St Monans Church
Monday 9th 7.30pm Taywailer present "Lights on the Shore" an evening of songs and stories about life on and around islands
Tuesday 10th 7pm The Winters Guest film (15)
Wednesday 11th 7.30pm Invention Ensemble. Concert of music written and performed by this ten piece ensemble featuring electric guitars, percussion, flute and synthesiser.
Thursday 12th 7.30pm Fife Strathspey and Reel Society
Friday 13th 7.30pm Looking forSarah. Aone woman show about the life of Sarah Bernhardt

East Neuk Fish Festival

8.00pm Ceilidh in Pittenweem Fishmarket
Sunday 15th
Open Gardens
6.00pm A Chamber Roofed by Heaven - slides and music about the gardens at Kellie Castle
7.30 "It cam wi a Lass" and "Braes of Mar". Two plays by Isobel Grant Stewart presented at Kellie Castle

Through the week - puppets for children every morning at 10.30 in St Fillans Cave and activities every afternoon.
