Kellie Castle

Dating from the 14th Century, this National Trust of Scotland castle is a fine example of domestic architecture of its time. Restored in the 19th century by the Lorimar family is contains magnificent plaster ceilings and painted panelling as well as fine furntirue designed by Lorimar himself.

The gardens of late Victorian times features a fine collection of old-fashioned herbaceous plants and roses. There is a small adventure
playground to keep the children amused as you stroll round the gardens.
The castle is open from Good Friday to Easter Monday and 1st May to 30the September daily. At the weekends in October 1.30-5.30pm. The gardens and grounds are open all year round from 9.30am- sunset. Parties of 20 people or more must book in advance.
